We support non-profit associations, local communities and rescue centers through sustainable events, activities, and tourism. Our projects give you the possibility to live, work and support directly the local community, getting to know from a different perspective the needs of the place you are visiting or traveling to.
Besides that, we work to expand the visibility of small projects, giving them an additional place to share their activities and a beggar chance to reach their goals.
MEXICO 2024
Nuevo Durango is a Mayan community founded by a group of peasants and chicleros in 1952 for their Mayan roots the inhabitants today are Mayan speakers who preserve their culture traditions and language it is signed by 56 families which make a total of 287 inhabitants.The community promotes a more Responsible type of Tourism through lodging gastronomy and adventure tourism services.
Thanks to what comes from tourism the families of Nuovo Durango can continue developing projects of ancient Mayan traditions such as Beekeeping and organic Product Farms and support the Community by offering more possibilities to young people and assistance to the elderly.An authentic experience to come into contact with local culture and nature escaping the mass and crowded tourism circuits
GuatemalA
San Juan de la Laguna is a small village in Lake Atitlan where employment opportunities were scarce. With the help of @Planeterra and not only the association @Rupalaj Kìstalin manages to ensure a constant flow of visitors creating sustainable tourism and economic support for local families. Thanks to the work of this association more than 30 families are able to benefit from the visit of tourists. In these places, children and fathers of families are forced to leave their homes in search of economic opportunities but thanks to sustainable tourism it is possible to have a greater positive impact on an economic cultural and social level.
Nicaragua
Puesta de Sol in Ometepe en Nicaragua is not only a beautiful spot to admire the sunset but also an association that has created new job opportunities for the Community of La Paloma strengthening the economy and the quality of life. Puesta de Sol provides accommodation with the family of the village and offers tourists different kinds of activities to discover more about the Island and its beautiful spots. All the money derived from this kind of Rural Tourism is used to invest in the Community infrastructure (local schools, local parks, and others) to provide scholarships for the kids and support the elderly.
Belize
Bike with purpose:
Planetterra has succeeded by creating a constant tourist flow on the island and giving life to an activity that allows fundraising from tourism. This is how "Bike with Purpose" was born a small association that offers tourist tours by bicycle allowing you to discover the most iconic places on the island and explain the local motto: Go Slow! Planetterra has raised donations to fund bicycles and other needed supplies and has also connected Bike with Purpose to other tourism partners creating a steady stream of travelers. As a result Bike with Purpose funds nearly 15% of Ocean Academy's student training programs.
Women’s CO-OP:
: Living on an island makes it difficult to get a full education. In Caye Caulker in 2008 less than 35% of children attended primary school given the need to leave the house and go elsewhere to continue their studies many adolescents preferred to leave their studies and enter the world of work. Thanks to the financial support of Planetterra the Ocean Academy was born in 2008 in Caye Caulker a high school that allows the boys and girls of the island to continue studying and receive an education.
Mexico 2023
El Hongo is a restaurant and a Cultural Center made with lots of colors and lots of love. It is located on the outskirts of Playa del Carmen and in addition to cooking authentic Mexican dishes it offers a growing space for the children of the neighborhood. Despite the growth of the city of Playa del Carmen the streets away from the center and the local population do not enjoy the benefits of tourism and remain without resources and support.

Mescladis is a restaurant /bar in Barcelona but it is really much more than that. This place is also a Foundation that helps immigrants to learn a job and enter the job market. Using the art of the kitchen and cooking class they teach a job to these people and support them in the opportunity to create a career besides that they promote many social and cultural activities.hare with the world.

Algunos consejos para para evitar el desperdicio de comida: raciones pequeñas, compras inteligentes, comprar frutas y verduras que aunque no estén en perfecto estado siguen siendo comestibles, revisar la nevera, diferenciar entre fecha de consumo preferente y fecha de caducidad, y convertir los residuos orgánicos en compost.
